Lirios de Llata - Andean harp & violin

LLata Videos: The Musical band 'Lirios of Llata' of the province of Wamalis, region of Wanuku -Piruw, performs Andean music with Andean harp & violin. With 35 years of trajectory, the musical band has developed its own style 'the Wamalis style'. The melodies are happy but deep at the mean time. The CD with purely instrumental music is a tribute to the masters tayta Jorge Sobrado Laveriano Director (violin), tayta Alfonso Caballero Pablo (violin), and to the young musicians; Cesar sobrado Caballero (violin) and Edwín Melgarejo Laveriano (harp) by maintaining alive our Andean musical tradition. Likewise also the tribute goes to tayta Jorge Sobrado, a master in Wamalis harp. Listening the CD will be to travel by the Wamalis landscapes, its people, and its history..
